Hawaiʻi SBIR/STTR Tech Showcase 2025

(July 2025) Interstel Technologies participated in the Hawaiʻi SBIR Company Showcase held at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox in Honolulu. The event brought together Hawaii-based SBIR companies, federal and local resource partners, and members of the HSBIR review committee for an afternoon of presentations, networking, and collaboration.

Representing Interstel were CEO Dr. Trevor Sorensen, VP of Technology Eric Pilger, and business interns Samantha Guinto and Tehya Fernandez. During the five-minute pitch session, Dr. Sorensen highlighted Interstel’s current NASA STTR work in developing their innovative technology, iCOSMOS-Swarm for managing agile swarms of satellites and other applicable mobile assets to the missions of DoD, NASA, NOAA, and other agencies.

The showcase provided a valuable opportunity to connect with other small businesses in the local innovation ecosystem and explore available support programs and partnership opportunities. Interstel appreciates the opportunity to take part in events that promote collaboration, innovation, and the growth of Hawaiʻi’s tech sector.
